Hi, my name is Matteo Spinelli and this is my blog since 2016. After 10 years of ramblings about mechanical keyboards, 3D printing, retro-computing, coding, ... I guess it was time for a change.

Internet is a very different place now, hell, 2016 feels like a different life. We are in the middle of the AI bubble and creating original content may seem superfluous if not stupid. I argue that actual human generated content has never been so important. They want me to believe that everything is easier and faster with AI, but nothing worth doing has ever been easy.

Attention span is also very short nowadays and content is consumed in video format, if it's written you rarely have more than 2 lines to tell the whole story.

So why even bother keeping such an antiquated medium alive? Well, on one side we need to feed the AI with new original data. If we all stop creating the models will be closed in a loop forced to feed themselves with more generated data and the result will be a diluted slop. So let's give them some original data once in a while.

On the other hand I hope there's still someone interested in reading. I haven't done much noteworthy lately --I know-- but I'll try to post more, hopefully also some new videos.

What you'll find here

  • Mechanical Keyboards & Keycaps: My beloved keycap profiles, like MT3, MTNU, PBS and all the others. And my reviews and ramblings about mechanical keyboards.
  • DIY & 3D Printing: I use 3D printing a lot for prototyping. Here you'll find my experience with this amazing technology.
  • Linux & Open Source: Mostly dedicated to Self-hosted services that respect user freedom.
  • Laser & Ninjas & Shit: And honestly whatever comes to mind.
