Love the look.
Do you know if they work with low profile switches like Kailh Choc v2, or similar?
Some profiles are to narrow inside and kind of rubs on the casing of the switch. which of course makes them unusable on low profile keybords.
I haven’t tested them yet, I’ll check when I have a full set, but yeah I’m afraid they wouldn’t work 100%
Ok, thanks. I will order a set anyway but it’a a pity I will not be able to use them on my low profile builds.
Hi, Matt!
So I ordered the Susu set because I am dying to try out the profile :-D But I really like the beige and wob sets as well, and I can’t decide if I should buy them right now or wait until I tested the profile first!
Will the Beige and WoB sets be reintroduced at a later date potentially? What does your gut tell you?
Thank you!
beige and wob are the most likely to be re-run
Hey Matt,
working on some color matching, could you list the RGB / RAL color codes for MTNU Beige? :D
there’s no RAL for those, they are the standard GMK beige colors
Dang I missed it. Will there possibly be a rerun? I’ve really liked using the keycaps you’ve made. I’ve got the /dev/tty3, susuwatari, WOB, and 3277 (blanks) and it’s hard going back to other profile keycaps.
maybe you can still grab them :) or just wait for the next round!
Any plans for MTNU PBT sets with alphas other than white or beige besides Susu? MT3 PBT sets are my absolute favorite profile and material, so I want to try MTNU out. One annoying thing about all the MT3 PBT sets is they only seem to have alphas in white or beige. They can obviously do other colors since modifiers come in a myriad of colors. I’m guessing it’s a cost issue with whoever manufacturers the MT3 sets? Since the GMK sets are doubleshot instead of dyesub, I was hoping there would be more color variety for MTNU PBT.
any color can be done in doubleshot, more color options will be available in the future.
Any chance to have Mac extras?
Hi Matt3o! I own your susuwatari and dev/tty keycaps, love them both. I was wondering, because I got one low profile keyboard with low profile switches, I know that XDA works just fine with low profile keyboards, I was wondering if MTNU would too? If you could test this theory it would help me a lot. Thanks in advance!
the keys just barely fit on the low profile switches, when I’ll have a full set of prototypes I will check properly but they are not designed for low profile. We would need to do the sides thinner and we don’t want thinner, right?! :)
Please check because I love susuwatari, when I put them on low profile keyboard it works but it bottoms down to floor making not so much nice noise, although I tested xda profiles and it works just fine, maybe it depends on cheery mount to be lower then sides. Hope to hear as soon as you know! I would love to get my hands on new MTNU.
Any ETA on the Space Cadet color scheme?
damn :) let us release the first batch first :D
Got one question more, I noticed after two years of using susuwatari that they developed shining, does MTNU will be more durable? Thought PBT would not have that effect. Yet alphabetic keycaps which is used the most developed that problem.
Ok, I noticed after 3 years that susuwatari was ABS… oh the pain, at least dev/tty was PBT.
sorry :) but at least MTNU will be 100% PBT
