This is the video I wanted to do since a long time. The Tolkien sets are not just fancy gimmicks, they can be actually used to write in Sindarin and Khuzdul. All you need is to install the right font and a little reference material.
In the following video I show you how easy it is to write in Sindaring and show off your Tolkien nerdom to the normies! It’s just an introduction, but should give you an idea.

So I posted a comment earlier but didnt catch this until watching it again. When you ment 0-9 arent number is that because they refer to combined sounds/other letters? Sorry im super new to all this and got vary confused when first seeing these boards. If indeed that was the case or am I wrong again?
you are perfectly right.
Thats pretty cool, would love to see how it works with dwarven for sure. Though now Im annoyed that my corsair keyboard uses its own special size for spacebars. But I might just get a set for later once this board dies or I buy a new one, would you have any recommendations for full size keyboards that use the same keycap profile?
Hi Matteo, I think something is going on with the MailChimp system. I’m not receiving newsletters to any inbox, folder or spam. And when I try the link to update MailChimp settings it says it has sent me an email with a link to do so, but again I am receiving no email.
Was so afraid that I had missed the LOTR keyset when I saw it launched on the 10th :( But glad that it was a preorder after all.
thanks for the heads-up, I’ll look into it! I seriously hate mass-emails :D aka spam
Hey, looks very nice! What keyboard/case is used in the picture?
Mára lómë Matt3o! I saw your beautiful keyset by chance on Instagram and am planning to buy it, but I just want to make sure that, it is possible to write in Quenya on the keyboard and that I have understood correctly that the typical punctuation, exclamation and question marks have been omitted? It was a little difficult to get an overview on drop.com. I love and admire all the work you have put into this project, now we can finally write in the Elvish languages unhindered. Hantanyël!
Yes, Victoria, to avoid clutter on the keycap I omitted the symbols. I know it’s not easy to find them that way but this is a “nerd” set anyway :)
hey.. matt3o.
i have some question!!
After installing the tengwar font,
Is it possible to add tenguar font as input font in WINDOWS?(LIKE language pack)
In YOUR YouTube video, it seems that you type tenwar in a word processor, etc.,
can I set it to type tenwar font directly instead of English?
you mean like making windows all look like written in Elvish? No, that wouldn’t be possible
I mean..
Normally, English characters are typed when typing on the keyboard, so is there any other way to make Tengwar be typed by default like this?
yes, by installing the Tengwar font. Then you just fire up LibreOffice or any word processor and learn to write in Sindarin (following the instructions in the video :) )
Thanx for your Great help!!
